Outside the camp, Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) and Lexa (Alycia-Debnam Carey) watched as the camp burned in front of them. Lexa then stopped Clarke from going to help any of the survivors at the camp. She knew that the sniper would only try to take them down and kill. Clarke then told Lexa that she regretted not warning them regarding the missile. Lexa reminded her that they wouldn’t have any victories if some sacrifices weren’t made. Clarke then decided that she would kill all of the Mountain Men. She then told Lexa that she was also going to kill the sniper.
At the camp, Dr. Abby Griffin (Paige Turco) tried to help treat the wounded. She was warned by Delano that they could only save those who could be saved. Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos) and Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) then tried to save Indra (Adina Proter) who was badly injured. Then, she refused to be touched by Lincoln as he had been a Reaper. Abby then noticed that there were survivors in the debris of the blast as she heard someone banging something metallic inside.
Meanwhile, at Mount Weather, Monty Green (Christopher Larkin), Jasper Jordan (Devon Bostick) and the other got ready for battle. Monty disabled all the locks and tapped into the camera feeds outside. Jasper and the others created a barricade so that they could hold their ground.
Back at the camp, Abby went inside the debris to help any injured survivors. The rest moved to find more shelter against the sniper. Indra, who was losing a lot of blood, informed Octavia that she had to prepare herself to be her group’s leader as Octavia was her second. Lincoln then went out on his own to look for the sniper so that they wouldn’t be pinned down anymore.
Back at Mount Weather, Monty noticed that some of the soldiers weren’t wearing hazmat suits, which meant that the bone marrow treatment had worked. The soldiers then tore down the barricade and threw in some flashbangs. Inside, they thought that Jasper and the other were unconscious and were surprised to discover that they there very much awake. They then managed to injure the soldiers, and forced them to retreat. However, after discovering that they had taken Fox (Genevieve Buechner), Jasper killed the injured soldier that had been left inside with them.
Back at the camp, Abby discovered that the survivor, Marcus Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) was trapped underneath a big beam, and was bleeding from his leg. They then heard a whimper from a distance. Marcus thought that it was Clarke and told her to save her daughter, however, she refused to leave him behind.
Back at Mount Weather, before the soldiers could put Fox on the operating table, Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) came in disguised as a soldier and shot the two soldiers down. Maya (Ever Harlow) then took them to where she and her father (Ian Tracey) lived, much to his chagrin. She then begged him to help Bellamy and Fox, as her mother would have done the same. Maya then revealed that her mother had been against using the blood of the outsiders to help cure them, and because of that, she had died. Her father then agreed and told Bellamy that now that they knew that the treatment worked. President Cage Wallace (Johnny Whitworth) would stop at nothing to find them.
Meanwhile, Clarke told Lexa to stop giving her lessons. She told her that killing the sniper was something quite personal already. They then stopped as they heard something in the bushes, but it turned out to be Lincoln, who told Clarke that Octavia was alive. Together, they went to find higher ground.
Inside the camp debris, Abby tried to get Marcus out but discovered that the beam pinning him down actually served as a kind of stop-gap measure as it was allowing the bleeding to stop. Marcus then told her to find Clarke. She informed him that Clarke and Alexa weren’t there anymore.
The next morning, Maya gave Bellamy a keycard that would allow him to enter the armory. However, the problem was that the guard had the key to the armory. She then informed him that while he got the guns, she would distract the guards. They then would be able to slide the guns down to Jasper and the others via the trash chutes which were free from radiation. However, just as Bellamy left Maya, she was taken in by President Wallace. He placed her in a hazmat suit and informed Jasper that they had twenty minutes to surrender, or else Maya would suffocate to death.
Meanwhile, back at the camp, Octavia had enough of waiting. and. led everyone to the crater. There was a lot of debris after distracting the sniper with a fire caused by a homemade grenade as she had thrown a bottle of an alcoholic drink into the camp.
Back at the fifth level of Mount Weather, Jasper got Maya. She and learned from Fox that Bellamy was going to send in the guns through the trash chute. Jasper then realized that Maya would be able to get air if she went through the chute, but the problem was that Monty had disabled it. He then raced against time to get to open again.
Back at the camp, debris caved into the space where Abby and Marcus were. Abby then found herself trapped under a huge boulder. She instructed Marcus not to sleep and to focus on her voice. She then apologized and wondered how Clarke could allow the missile to hit them without warning them, as she had known about it the entire time. However, Marcus told her that she had made a difficult choice, but that she had learned how to make difficult choices from him and Abby. It was Abby had been the one who had let her husband “float” for the good of the Ark.
Back at Mount Weather, thanks to an extra push by Bellamy, they were able to get the trash chute open. Jasper, Bellamy and Maya then went through the chute. They managed to rip off the helmet of her hazmat suit, allowing her to breathe freely once again. Maya was then surprised to find that her father and come to help them, and he escorted them out of their level.
Meanwhile, Lincoln managed to take the sniper by surprise. However, the sniper managed to disable him for a while. The man held him by his neck, and warned Clarke, who had a gun trained on him, that he was going to kill Lincoln. Clarke then didn’t hesitate and shot the sniper dead. However, Clarke told Lexa that shooting the sniper didn’t make her feel any better.
At the camp, Octavia paused in trying to remove the debris as she heard Lincoln’s horn.
Back at the fifth level, President Wallace ordered his men to search for Jasper and the others who were no longer at the fifth level. Bellamy and Maya’s father escorted them to another level, where each person was taken in by someone in their movement. Bellamy then told Jasper and Monty that they couldn’t come with him, as the soldiers didn’t know yet that he was there. He told them that they had to make sure that they survived until Clarke and her army of grounders came to get them.
Abby and Marcus were then freed as another clan had come to help them. Octavia was then overjoyed to see that Lincoln and Clarke were both alive. Lincoln went to Octavia while Lexa and Clarke, the two leaders, stood by the ledge. Lexa’s people chanted. She stopped them and told them that they would go to the Mountain Men to fight them. Abby then ordered everyone else to continue searching for survivors in the debris. Meanwhile, Indra praised Octavia’s actions. She told her to get her gear as they were going with their commander- Lexa. She also thanked Lincoln for what he had done, and hugged him. Clarke then informed Abby that the marrow treatment had worked, which meant that all of her friends’ lives were in jeopardy. Before Clarke left with the others, Abby told her daughter never to forget that they were the good guys, and bid her goodbye until they met again.
