‘19 Kids And Counting’ Molestation Scandal: Jill Duggar’s Brother-In-Law Talks Forgiveness
Dan Dillard, Derick Dillard’s brother and Jill Duggar’s brother-in-law, has shared his thoughts about the scandal surrounding the Duggar family.
While we are all waiting for the Duggar family’s anticipated sit-down with Fox News on Wednesday, we have another opinion from the family with respect to the scandal. Jill Duggar’s brother-in-law Dan Dillard has spoken out about the Josh Duggar sex abuse scandal. This has in fact attracted the attention of the “19 Kids and Counting” fans.
According to report from International Business Times, Josh Duggar, 27, has already released a statement on May 21 confessing his act of sexually abusing five underage girls in 2002 and 2003 during his teenage. He felt guilty for his unforgivable deed and immediately resigned from the Family Research Council.
Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, have already released their statement regarding the scandal, and highlighted that Josh’s action should be forgiven. Though a majority of the Duggar family members are remaining silent without giving their opinion, the “19 Kids and Counting” star Dan Dillard revealed his thoughts about the situation.
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports that Dan wrote about forgiveness in wake of Josh’s molestation scandal in Facebook on May 24.
“Many people are quick to pass judgement on others without even so much as glancing at their own lives,” Dan wrote.
“That’s the thing about people in the world… they often don’t recognize that Christians are not perfect, but simply forgiven. Plain and simple,” he added.
However, Dan is not the only person to speak out about the scandal. Josh’s cousin, Amy Duggar, also wrote many messages on Twitter about her faith regarding the scandal. “A love so bold to see a revolution somehow… my God’s not dead. He’s surely alive!” she wrote.
While Josh’s parents have released their statement about the molestation scandal surrounding the Duggar family, and a majority of the other Duggar family members are remaining silent, not everyone is quiet.
