2NE1’s Dara Reveals Her Work Ethic On ‘Sugarman’ Just in Time for Her New Web Drama Release
More often than not, celebrities, especially Asian entertainers and celebrities wear more than one hat at a time. An entertainer or an actor is usually not just that, but is also a singer, dancer, entertainer, and actor all rolled into one person. However, there are also some interesting celebrities such as 2NE1’s Sandara “Dara” Park, who goes the extra mile to not only promote herself and the band that she is in but also supports her celebrity friends and other artists who are part of the same agency she is, online. This, of course, is an extra role she has taken upon herself, while also currently juggling being an entertainer and judge on a reality television show, a member of 2NE1, and being an actress with an ongoing drama project. Read on to learn more about Dara, the many hats that she has taken upon herself, and to learn more about her currently ongoing web drama, “Missing Korea.”
Sandara “Dara” Park, definitely is one hard working celebrity, who is a very big credit to YG Entertainment, and to her group, 2NE1. It seems that not only is she juggling being a judge, entertainer, pop idol and actress, but also tries her best to help out her agency, and her fellow YG Family artists.
According to All K Pop, the pop star, who is also one of the judges on “Sugarman,” mentioned, because of some comments that were made by her fellow emcees and judges, that she considers herself as a member of the public relations department of YG Entertainment. She mentioned that she does some actual work, aside from the activities that she has to do as an entertainer.
This, however, isn’t so much of a surprise for fans of Dara, as they know that Dara actively promotes herself, her band, and her fellow YG Family artists on social media.
Aside from this, Dara currently has an ongoing web drama on Naver TV, which premiered on Nov. 3, 2015, and according to Soompi, will run until Nov. 13, 2015.
The drama, entitled “Missing Korea,” is set in the future, with a unified Korea.
Dara portrays a North Korean worker named Li Yeon Hwa, who ends up competing as a contestant in the “1st Unified Miss Korea Competition.”
According to Soompi, several breathtaking stills have been released of the actress, featuring her in a formal red gown.
K Pop Starz last month also released a teaser poster for the drama, which showed a stiff looking Li Yeon Hwa, posing beside a puzzled looking “Princess Hours” star Kim Jeon Hoon, who is portraying the main male lead.
