5SOS Michael Clifford Says ‘Sorry’ To Justin Bieber?
Is it too late to say sorry? 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) Michael Clifford clarified his “Rolling Stone” statement about Justin Bieber. Read on!
Clifford is trying to fix the mess he unintentionally made when he told “Rolling Stone” that he thought Justin Bieber “hated” his band.
According to Hollywood Life, Clifford is making an effort to erase the alleged bad blood between him and Bieber. The 20-year-old guitarist pointed out that he’s a big fan of the “What Do You Mean” singer and insisted that he never meant to disrespect the singer.
The site also reported that the young hunk reached out to Bieber to explain his side of story regarding the “hate” issue that “Rolling Stone” published, which created a big buzz on the internet especially on Twitter.
Clifford messaged Bieber on Twitter to say that he has no idea why it was in the article as he’s been a fan of the singer since the start.
Pop Crush noted that the magazine in question released an interview of the band where Clifford told the story about crashing Bieber’s American Music Awards party and making a remark about what he thought about the singer.
“I think he hates us,” says Clifford. “It was f—g crazy, people standing on tables and shit. I probably shouldn’t say this, but he had his own album on loop for, like, two or three hours.”
As a result, many gossip sites claimed that Clifford threw a major shade to the Canadian singer. The young hunk’s statement was not well taken by the fans and even Bieber himself as he messaged back the guitarist to tell him not to use his name to get to the headlines. He even clearly stated that he doesn’t hate the boys before pointing out that he doesn’t even know Clifford!
In the end, both sides seems to successfully clarify that they don’t have any hard feelings to each other.
