Is Aaron Carter Implying That He Is The Next Michael Jackson?
Aaron Carter recently tweeted something that made netizens react in a not-so-positive-way. Yes, it had something to do with the late Michael Jackson and himself—possibly being the next King of Pop?!
E! News reports that Carter tweeted, “Remember one very important thing. Michael passed down the torch to me. I never had to ask for him to do that.”
Yes, it happened. Here’s are some of the tweets:
What? As confused as we all are right now, Carter received a massive backlash of puzzled and mostly annoyed responses from Twitter users, as soon as his post was sent into the Interwebs.
Most of the replies poked fun at Carter:
According to New York Daily News, it all began when the 27-year-old singer condemned people for commenting on how skinny he was.
“The way people talk about my weight is like high school times a million,” he wrote in a tweet that appears to be deleted. “Yes. I’m skinny right now. I’ve been very stressed and going thru some s–t and felt like I need to explain myself ‘cause so many people are asking me and talking about me being too f–king skinny.” he said.
Carter then divulged that he truly has some health issues, including a hiatal hernia and also endures anxiety which he articulates “sucks” and can be as “weird as f–k.”
Well, Aaron Carter didn’t stop there. He went on to write about his alleged connection to Jackson, which puzzled the public more. According to reports, he spent his Sunday evening being defensive and saying people are bullying him for reacting violently to his tweet about the MJ comparison.
“So now…. It’s time. In [a lot of] different ways I need to grow and be the best man I can be and my love is pure it started just as young as MJ and that’s why we both connected because we really were and still [are] the only ones of our kind,” he said.
According to Aaron Carter’s tweets, he is currently working on new music.
