Abby Lee Miller Loses Weight to Find a Boyfriend – Dance Moms

Abby Lee Miller is not only known for her outspoken and harsh personality. Her big size added to her trademark image on “Dance Moms.” However, Miller seemed to have lost a great deal of weight recently and sparked rumors that she had undergone lap band surgery to find a boyfriend. Read on for details.

According to Enstarz‘s take on a recent OK! Magazine issue, the publication claimed that Miller chose to have a surgical procedure rather than diet and exercise. It is reported that Miller lost 40 pounds to have more chance in settling down with a man.

For more “Dance Moms” news, TMZ reported in March 2015 that Miller is going to bring Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) to the Golden State in order to open a new studio in Santa Monica. Miller would conduct dance classes beside “Dancing with the Stars” studios  and already rented an apartment near Los Angeles.

The popularity of “Dance Moms” in Australia is a no-brainer because of several tours conducted by Miller down under. In fact, speculations arose that Season 6 would welcome an Australian dancer to join ALDC. Daily Telegraph stated that Miller expected the sixth season to be “an Australian Dance Moms.” A seven-year-old girl named Asha Rostron stood up from the crowd as she made to the finals at Miller’s dance workshop. Her mother, Alecia Picken, admitted that some Australians boycotted Miller’s event because of her scandalous teaching methods.

Miller’s strong personality also incited fights with several Moms, one of whom being Haley Huelsman’s mother Melanie. Melanie explained to IBTimes that her daughter preferred Miller’s rival, Cathy Nesbitt-Stein. She admitted that Haley fears Miller and claimed Stein is way different with her gentler coaching skills. She believed that a teacher does not have to be rude to the kids to assure obedience. Then she defended Stein from her haters.

“People don’t really get to see who she really is because she really does care about the kids,” Huelsman explained.

“Dance Moms” airs every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. on Lifetime.
