ABC To Air ‘Captain America: 75 Heroic Years’ With Some Exclusive Announcements

For a few consecutive years, big screen has been governed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe and with its film series like “The Avengers,” “Captain America” and “Iron Man.”

Currently a significant move has been marked by Marvel as it displays a strong will to enter the television world too. Marvel already got some connections as two imperative television casters ABC and Netflix airs some important series from comic-fiction world. ABC forecasts “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Agent Carter” whereas Netflix possesses an increasing number of shows of “Hell’s Kitchen,” screenrant.com reports.

And now at the completion of 75th anniversary “Captain America” will get some marvelous attention as ABC has decided to air a one hour special episode on January 19th. Right before the premiere of the second season of “Marvel’s Agent Carter” the aforesaid exclusive show will be hosted to celebrate the Marvel Comics’ patriotic icon.

The outstanding news for the Marvel Comics fans is that they can join the party of the 75 year anniversary of Captain America by keeping their eyes on the show that may explore some hidden part of one the oldest Marvel Comics heroes, Captain America. Moreover, the speculations unveil that Marvel and ABC, conjointly, will make some mysterious exclusive announcement during the airing of the special.

Captain America stands relevant over the years as it boosts up a moral concern towards society and infuses a confidence for the betterment of things. Recalling the history, we must note that back in March 1941, Captain America debuted in the pages of Timely Comics that ultimately turned to Marvel Comics. He was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.

Despite the comic hero witnessed its first theatrical release back in 1990, its popularity reaches at its best over the past four years with two new solo films, “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” The third installment, “Captain America: Civil War” is yet to smash the box office. It will release on May 6, 2016.

Directed by Zac Knutson, Marvel’s “Captain America: 75 Heroic Years” is set to air Tuesday, January 19 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network.
