ADELE WEEPS AFTER HER FIRST SENSATIONAL CONCERT IN THREE YEARS, GETS A STANDING OVATION
Fame can be really overwhelming at times and when it comes accompanied with the immense support of millions of fans worldwide, it’s always a bonus. However, Adele seemed to breakdown in tears from the massive support she received from her fans and audience when her first TV concert aired on NBC on Monday. The British songstress broke down in her concert and showed her gratitude towards her fans, when she received a standing ovation.
We all are aware of the blazing success of her new album “25” and the one hour concert which aired on Monday was an edited version from a much longer one. Adele made her last appearance in concerts three years ago and after that she took a long break for being pregnant. The concert was a selection of a few of her smashing hits as well as a number of her new songs from “25,” which was filmed in Radio City Music Hall on November 17th.
Her fans were ecstatic after her astounding performance and that somehow drove her into an emotional state. According to MailOnline, a teary eyed Adele conveyed her emotions to the audience, “Oh, I am so relieved.” She also added, “I’ve honestly missed you all so much… I know I’ve been quiet. I just wanted to come back and surprise you. I thought I did quite well not crying until now” as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
In an interview in November, she had revealed that she almost quit music, because she was afraid of not living up to “21,” her last studio album before “25.”
As per International Business Times, she stated in an interview that she really got worried of being able to make anything that fans would like again. She added, “And also I started to wonder, may be ’21’ being so successful is enough for everyone? But i realized it wasn’t enough for me. So, sorry, I’ll make your ears bleed again.” Spoken like a true artist Adele!
