This newly designed album is a follow-up to Adele’s top-selling record “21” that was released in the global market back in 2011. The album, has reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and U.K. Album chart. Since the album’s 2011 release, it sold an estimated 30 million copies and won seven Grammy Awards, according to the Times.
Sources proclaimed that the new album is slated to release on Friday, November 20 via Columbia Records though it urges for a confirmation from the “Skyfall” singer. Moreover, paving a way of the album’s release, the lead single from the record would drop in early November. Industry insiders revealed that the contract Adele has inked with XL, happened to be worth more than $50 million.
No doubt the English blue-eyed soul queen will make this special for her fans. The Grammy winner is advancing a plan with NBC and BBC overseas to endure a grand promotion prior to the album’s release. According to the report, the “Someone Like You” singer has assented to an exclusive yet productive performance deal with NBC.
The program will incorporate four big performances as she promotes the LP. Apart from that, the singer will appear on the shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “The Today Show” as a musical guest and may personate a performance distinctively on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Reportedly, Adele has advocated a further deal with NBC that may foster a one-hour primetime special show exclusively on her forthcoming album.
The critics are reckoning the possibilities whether the new album may match up with her previous ones, “21”, a widely acclaimed sophomore record. On the other hand, the fans are curious to identify the release schedule of the yet to be named album by the “Rolling in the Deep” singer. But so far, it’s been confirmed that Danger Mouse, a reputed musician/producer/songwriter and Max Martin, another renowned producer/songwriter have collaborated with the 27-year-old singer. The production will involve Tobias Jesso Jr. and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.
The singer took a brief interval from the music industry after the release of “21”when she began seeing charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki in January 2012 and pronounced the birth of their son Angelo on Oct. 19, 2012.
