‘Agent Carter’ Season 2 Spoilers: Upcoming Season Brings Back Characters From The Past

So…what will be happening to “Agent Carter” in the new season of the television series? The season 2 of the upcoming series will be composed of 10 episodes according to the titular role holder, Hayley Atwell. Read on for more details.

Based on ABC’s official description of the second season, Atwell who plays as Peggy Carter, the protagonist of the show who’s dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II will have a journey from New York to Los Angeles (Hollywood) for her most dangerous assignment.


In her newest venture, she’ll be with unfamiliar faces but will discover new friends, new home, and perhaps even new love. Peggy will find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone that she sworn to protect.

In addition to this, Den Of Geek updated that according to the show’s star, Atwell herself, there will be “repetition of characters.” So meaning, fans… James D’Arcy and Enver Gjokai as Edward Jarvis and Daniel Sousa will be reunited with our favorite character, Peggy.

“Yeah, we can’t have a show without those guys,” Atwell added.

However, though many fans are now excited about the revelation of the characters repetition, Atwell didn’t mention if David Cooper who plays as Stark would be part of the main cast or will be a recurring player.

Apart from reprising role news, according to executive producer Tara Butters although Season 1 hinted that the “Winter Soldier”will be the program’s main focus, the show will be telling a “new story” next year and  they will also introduce new villains.

Executive producer Michelle Fazekas also added that the viewers, who are fans of the Marvel comics, will definitely recognize the new villains of the series. He did not elaborate on which comic book villains will be introduced, but said that fans who are familiar with the comics will be “rewarded.”

On the other hand, the filming of the upcoming season has yet to begin  but the premiere episode is expected to air in January 2016.
