‘American Horror Story: Coven’ – Is Nan really dead and gone?
Spoiler alert: Stop reading this article if you don’t want to know who died on this week’s American Horror Story: Coven!
The meaning of “death” changes when it comes to American Horror Story: Coven; here the term refers to a temporary state in which a beloved character is taken out of the scene for a specific time interval. As it happened to Madison and Kyle – who are now sort of alive-ish and kicking after suffering barbaric murders. But what about the victims of this week’s episode?
Ryan Murphy’s terrifying tweet, just before Jan. 8 episode, really left me excited for Stevie Nicks’ guest appearance.
Ryan wrote: “TONIGHT! Stevie Nicks PLUS TWO shocking deaths as American Horror Story returns!”
With intense feelings of dread, I still went into the episode and know what – my fears were realized when one of Miss Robichaux’s Academy’s finest — witches, Nan (Jamie Brewer), met her untimely death at the hands of Fiona (Jessica Lange). At last, we also lost Joan this week!
So here’s the question: Is Nan dead for good and not coming back? It would be quite shocking if she didn’t appear again by the end of the season. But everything is possible – Nan may come back to life and prove she is the next Supreme, after all. Though the idea is a bit crazy but that would really be a kick-ass way to end American Horror Story.
