‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ In-depth Character Details
A handful of teasers have been released for the “American Horror Story: Freak Show.” But it does not end there as we bring you further details about the cast. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
As we all know, Jessica Lange will be the one managing the whole freak show, and we have learned that she was a former German cabaret, Elsa Mars. we also learned that her character is very manipulative but still caring and in touch with the people that she leads.
It is also very interesting to know that Sarah Paulson’s character, the conjoined twins, have two different personalities. Having said that, there is going to be some personality war between them that we are going to witness. Evan Peter’s character has a very unique body part, the lobster hands, and the bearded lady played by Kathy Bates is his mother, Ether. Ethel’s ex-husband is Dell, a very strong man who’s actually on the run and got himself a new three-breasted wife, who will be played by Angela Bassett.
The villain has also been revealed, the clown or “Twisty the Clown,” which will be played by John Carroll Lynch. Ryan Murphy revealed that Twisty is retired and chose to spend his days in Jupiter, FL, but he is not happy at all with the arrival of Elsa Mars’ Freak Show.
We also learned that Emma Roberts and Denis O’Hare will be returning this season, and they will be playing as con artists. Meanwhile, Gabourey Sidibe is a socialite, and Frances Conroy is a very rich woman with a son who wants to join the Freak Show. We will also see Wes Bentley during the two-part Halloween episode of the show as a man with two faces, Edward Mordrake.
