During the Comic-Con 2015 panel, Deadline reported on the name of Paulson’s character in the upcoming series. She revealed her character’s name is Sally Hypodermic” And then, Murphy hinted that her character could be killed off because none of her characters died in the past seasons.
This is Paulson’s first time to go dark in the anthology series and also may be the first time that she’ll get killed off. Murphy knew that the actress could go dark this season after all of the characters she played in “AHS.”
“He threw everything at me and the kitchen sink during season two. I had to simulate masturbation, give myself an abortion and breastfeed Zachary Quinto,” Paulson said.
When Murphy assigned her the role of Bette and Dot for “Freak Show,” Paulson shared that she watched the video of the only living conjoined twins Brittany and Abby Hensel. She did it in order to get a better idea on how they move so she could mimic them.
It would definitely be a big change to see Paulson going dark for the first time in “American Horror Story: Hotel.” But we know for sure that she could pull this off considering the fact that she just recently got her 4th Emmy Award nominee!
