‘American Pie 5′ Movie: Original Cast Returns! Tara Reid Spills Details
It seems like “American Reunion” may not be the last film in the American sex comedy franchise, “American Pie.” According to the recent news, there are speculations about show producers creating “American Pie 5” movie.
According to HollywoodLife, Tara Reid, the 39-years-old American model and actress who played the role of Vicky Lathum in the “American Pie” series, admitted during an interview with Australia’s hit radio show, “Kyle & Jackie O Show” that there are actual talks for the fifth installment. She also revealed in the interview that the film will be shooting in Las Vegas.
It was back in 1999 when the first “American Pie” hit the theaters and became an instant hit. The film had its other sequels “American Pie 2,” released on August 10, 2001 followed by “American Wedding,” released on August 1, 2003 and “American Reunion” released on April 5, 2012.
Although Tara Reid was not in the 2012 “American Reunion,” in her interview she said that she would love to be a part of “American Pie 5” which will be written and directed by Hayden Schlossberg and Jon Hurwitz.
If “American Pie” gets a fifth installment then it may be the next franchise to bring back the TV and movie cast after a long time. Unfortunately, all of the actors have some prior commitments and it will totally depend on the availability of the actors and of the screenplay of the fifth installment.
From the IMDB page of the movie, it seems that the “American Pie 5” will focus on Jim, played by 37-years-old Jason Biggs and his friends having a trouble in Las Vegas in their great “American Vacation.” Well if Universal Pictures will be able to cast all the leads from the first three franchise then the next and possibly the last movie in the franchise will be sure shot hit.
