Andrew Garfield ‘Campaigning Subliminally’ to Star In Harry Styles Biopic
Andrew Garfield is ‘petitioning’ to play One Direction singer Harry Styles in a biopic. He is also ‘campaigning’ albeit ‘subliminally.’ Read to find out why these words are the quotes.
Garfield may no longer be “Spider-Man,” but at least he has retained the spidey-esque sense of humor. The 32-year-old actor was questioned by MTV whether his new hair-do was for a Styles film, he commented with tongue firmly in cheek:
“I’m petitioning, I’m campaigning, subliminally. Just, like… is his life full and rich enough to have a biopic done about it yet? It’s time. He’s what, 21? It’s time. You’ve got me.”
Garfield, who is currently sporting a long lustrous tresses sort of look, stated categorically that he despised his “man-bun,” and kept it only because it actually repelled people. He then went on to explain the phenomenon of hair in great detail:
“Hair is hair, it’s fine — I don’t have anything against hair specifically. It’s more the furor that surrounds it… it’s stupid. But I had to grow my hair out for a film that I did recently, and I haven’t cut it…Stop pressuring me!”
The film in question is “99 Homes,” in which Garfield plays a construction worker and dad to Noah Lomax.
The real Styles, in the meantime, has not been faring so well as he will be pelted by a fan with a water bottle right where it hurts, while on stage for a One Direction gig. The singer was apparently spraying water on his fans. It was when one ‘Directioner’ thought to retaliate with a water bottle. It hit Styles squarely between the legs, causing the singer to double over with pain, Daily Mail is reporting.
Styles’ bad luck continues as this incident closely follows the One Direction concert in Philadelphia, where he has attacked with a can of Red Bull. That time it hit him on the face.
