The Hamilton Spectator reports that “The Amazing Spider-Man” superhero who recently reunited with his co-star after a brief split wishes to become a father. The “9 Homes” actor discloses that he is “keen to have a family of his own one day in the future.”
“I have a longing to be a father myself. Being a dad is something I’d to be at some point,” said the English-American actor.
According to the report from The Record.com, the actor enjoys crafting with wood when he is not working with films.
“I do a little bit of carpentry. I make things out of wood with my hands, and it’s something that’s in my family history,” told the 31-year-old star to ET.
In “99 Homes,” Garfield plays the role of an American father Dennis Nash. He is trying to get his house back after his family was forced to leave. In an interview with the source, the actor told that he never had problems in grasping his character’s accent. He also said, “My father is American. I’ve had his accent in my ear all my life.” The actor also revealed his longing to be a father in the interview.
Garfield and Stone were together for nearly three years before splitting earlier this year. “It was always a ‘break’ due to schedules,” a source said. The Spider-Man actors finally have had time to meet each other again after their busy schedules.

The couple was reportedly dating again. It was recently reported that the actors are having the “best time” after their reunion. Garfield, may in fact be stepping a little forward with their relationship after speaking of his longing to be a father.
