Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Incorporated Real-Life Element In ‘By The Sea’ Movie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie utilized their real-life chemistry while playing as husband-and-wife killers. The couple has incorporated another real-life element “marital frustration” in their next collaboration “By the Sea.”

Angelina Jolie Pitt, who has directed “By the Sea,” discussed about the upcoming film in an interview with the DGA.

The Oscar winner revealed that she and her husband Brad Pitt are playing the role of an unhappy couple in the film, after shooting the movie in Malta. During the interview, she further revealed that it was like directing herself and her husband during the “more intense argument scenes” of the movie.

Jolie described the movie as an art film. She even added that she would like to watch this kind of film. However, her role in the film is something that she has never done before.

“By the Sea” movie is about “a deeply unhappy couple on vacation in France who gets involved with a pair of newlyweds staying at their seaside inn,” reported Vanity Fair. While Jolie and Pitt are playing the lead characters, the other important co-stars of the film are French actors Melanie Laurent and Melvil Poupaud. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on November 13.

The more interesting fact about this film is that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made the movie while on their honeymoon. How tough it would have been for them to act in the argumentative scenes and to express marital frustration as an unhappy couple, while they were actually enjoying their honeymoon in their real life. Great job Jolie and Pitt!

Both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt feel proud of themselves for being bold enough to try this type of film. Jolie said that it was the hardest film for her.
