‘Ant-Man’ to Release New Classified Trailer with PG Rating

The highly anticipated trailer for the Marvel's Ant-Man, which is less than 2 minutes long, will be released soon. For more details on this story read on.

According to Comicbook.com, the release came after the official first trailer for the upcoming superhero action pic has been reviewed and classified by the board of Alberta Film Classification. Usually, a trailer is released as soon as it is classified. Moreover, according to comicbook.com, the trailer will be more like a simple teaser with a PG rating.


Marvel’s “Ant-Man” is an upcoming superhero film based on the comic book characters of the same name produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Phase Three project that will expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe along with “Captain America 3,” “Doctor Strange” and “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” among others.

“Ant-Man” stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, the titular size-shifting con man turned hero Ant-Man; Michael Douglas as Henry Pym, scientist credited for the discovery of Pym particles, which enables size alteration; and Evangeline Lilly and Corey Stoll who will play Hope Van Dyne and central villain, Darren Cross or Yellow Jacket respectively. John Slattery, who previously played the role of Howard Stark, Tony Stark’s father in “Iron Man 2,” joined the cast along with Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Gregg Turkington and rapper-actor T.I.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will produce the film along with Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee as executive producers. “Ant-Man” is directed by Peyton Reed, known for his works including “Bring It On,” “Down with Love” and “The Break-Up.” Peyton Reedtook over after Edgar Wright left the project. Principal photography for “Ant–Man” took place on  Aug. 19, 2014 in San Francisco. “Ant-Man” is set to hit the big screens on July 17, 2015.
