Ant-Man and The Wasp Update: Michael Douglas to Reprise his Role?
We have seen Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas as the three main characters in the 2015 released movie “Ant-Man” and when the talks related to making a sequel for the same appeared on the surface, it was declared that the Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly both have accepted the offer to reprise their characters namely Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, respectively. But we all were in a dicey situation over will Michael Douglas reprise his role as Hank Pym or not and now news is here that Marvel is planning to introduce Pym’s character in the upcoming sequel titled “Ant-Man and The Wasp.”
Yes, if everything goes well then we will see Pym in the upcoming “Ant-Man” sequel too, isn’t it cool because to see two individuals fighting with enemies wearing their suits will be very common, so, someone to guide them with extraordinary intelligence should also be there.
“I just got a call recently – they want to negotiate for a sequel and I thought ‘That’s great!’” Douglas said as revealed Collider.
Douglas further stated, “Hopefully, I won’t have to carry quite as much expositional dialogue as the first one but I had a wonderful time doing it. Just a great, great time.”
The upcoming movie will be made under the direction of Director Peyton Reed and for production part, Kevin Feige is already on board.
Well, only coming days will tell what and how big role will be played by the talented Michael Douglas but one thing is sure that the studio is really something big for him. So, let us wish him and the entire team of the second installment of the “Ant-Man” series which is slated for July 6, 2018 release. Till then, stick to this place for more updates.
