Antonio Banderas Adds New Feather In His Cap; Enters World OF Fashion
He is one of the most famous faces of Spain. Antonio Banderas started his illustrious career as a football player when he was only fourteen years old. He is also an international movie star who is famous for playing the role of “Zorro” in the famous film series.
That is not all. Banderas is, as some would call a “triple force to reckon with” in the Hollywood movie industry. He has been working as a producer, actor and director and he is all set to add another feather in his hat; that of a fashion designer.
Antonio Banderas found a great success with his own fragrance line. The multi-talented star confesses that he was indeed bitten by the fashion bug and wanted to pursue a focused career in fashion designing.
Banderas has been working with fragrances since the last 19 years and he feels that the world of perfumes is closely related to the fashion industry. He admitted in this week’s issue of Peopla Magazine that he had been thinking about an idea to put up a company that would have a close link with the world of fashion since the last couple of years.
However, the actor did not want it to be an impulsive decision. He wanted to do some studes on the fashion world before joining it. He wanted to be sure of the entire thing.
In the month of August this year, Banderas had declared that he has taken an admission in the famous Central Saint Martins, that is known for its famous alumni such as John Calliano, Alexander McQueen and Phoebe Philo.
He has plans for studying there for the next five years.
The star said that he has already commenced his project on designing his own line of shirts. He admitted that the fashion industry has a technical side that is much tougher than what he had been initial expecting.
He just cannot believe the amount of learning that has been already done by him. Banderas feels that the entire process is quite artistic for him.
