Ariana Grande Adopts New Dog and Names Him After a ‘Harry Potter’ Character
Ariana Grande just adopted her sixth dog, and she named it after a Harry Potter character. Can you guess which one is?
The “Love Me Harder” singer took to Instagram to welcome the newest addition to her growing “puppy posse.”
Grande named her dog Sirius Black, after the fictional godfather of Harry Potter in the best selling series. It’s safe to say that the singer picked out the name because of the puppy’s dark coat of fur. It didn’t hurt that Grande is a big fan of the J. K. Rowling novels.
In a previous interview with Cosmopolitan, the singer revealed that she adored the “Harry Potter” series just like most kids during her earlier years. She added that she preferred the company of a good book than going out and partying with friends.
“I’m kind of a boring, normal girl who likes Harry Potter and to sit in her pajamas and sing. A lot of my friends are partiers, but I’ve never really clicked with that,” Grande told Cosmopolitan.
Grande has always been an advocate of adopting animals. We think it’s great to see her in action! Hopefully, her gesture could encourage the Arianators to do the same.
According to MailOnline, Grande recently adopted a six-month old pitbull last December, whom she fondly called Cinnamon. The 21-year-old said that she plans to spoil all her pets and love them unconditionally. Currently, her dog posse is made up of Fawkes, Coco, Toulouse, Ophelia, Cinnamon and Sirius Black.
What do you think of Ariana Grande’s latest pet, Sirius Black? Do you think she should adopt more dogs for her dog posse or is six enough? Sound off in the comments below.
