Ariana Grande Doesn’t Want to Be Associated with Big Sean; ‘Love Me Harder’ Singer Rises at Social 50 Chart
Ariana Grande is pretty much known for her powerful vocals (and high ponytail), but the 22-year-old singer is often tied to her ex boyfriend, Big Sean. While the couple has called it quits, Grande recently opened up about their breakup and said that she no longer wants to be known as Big Sean’s ex. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Ariana Grande and Big Sean had a big fallout this year after the couple surprisingly announced their breakup. While both stars are already moving forward with their separate lives, the “Love Me Harder” singer recently addressed the never-ending speculations about their breakup.
Grande told V Magazine (via E! News) that her breakup with Big Sean “wasn’t that hard” because they were friends before they became a couple. Grande also offered a word of advice for her fans and followers who are currently going through a painful breakup:
“You’ll be fine. You don’t need anyone. It’s nice to have someone that makes you happy, but it’s nice to be happy on your own as well,” Grande said.
Grande also said that she hopes people would stop referring to her as Sean’s ex and wishes to be known “as just Ariana.”
“Whatever I decide to do with my body, with my heart, and with my life, I can still be my own person,” she added.
Meanwhile, the “One Last Time” singer recently rose at the Social 50 Chart following her appearance at “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Billboard reported. According to the outlet, Grande played the “Wheel of Musical Impressions” game with Fallon and her uncanny talent of impersonating singers like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears generated a lot of interest among viewers.
Ariana Grande will be releasing her new single, “Focus” on Oct. 30.
