Ariana Grande Out, Demi Lovato In For MLB All-Star Concert
Ariana Grande, an American singer and actress, has pulled out of the MLB All-Star Concert due to removal of her wisdom teeth and Demi Lovato is all set to replace her.
Ariana will not perform at the concert, according to the Associated Press, since she got her wisdom tooth extracted. A representative for Lovato said that she would perform during All-Star Week on Saturday at Paul Brown Stadium as part of the Pepsi Music Series. The free concert also include the popular “Me and My Broken Heart” song performer pop-rock band ‘Rixton’.
On July 14, the 86th MLB All-Star Game will air on Fox from the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
Meanwhile, Ariana is mired in a controversy for her ‘I hate America’ remark. A TMZ.com video has shown her licking doughnuts with her boyfriend at a California shop early this month’ where she was heard saying, “I hate Americans. I hate America.”
The video has gone viral on the social media sites and her name has been trending on Twitter and Facebook.
In a statement to Buzzfeed, Ariana said that she only made a point about healthy eating in America. “It often disturbs me that how we as Americans never ponder over the consequences of eating and consuming things,” said Ariana.
