Ariana Grande Tour Slammed: Says She Looked Confused, Uncertain and Insecure

Uh-oh! Ariana Grande was believed to be the next Mariah Carey, but reviews from a critic on her latest concert prove otherwise. The critic claims that Grande looked “confused, uncertain about what to say and insecure.” Ouch! Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Ariana Grande is known for her powerhouse vocals. It’s no wonder how the “Break Free” singer instantly rose to fame. Grande was even believed to be the next Mariah Carey with her pretty voice, but a critic claims that she doesn’t seem to be ready for big leagues.

According to Piet Levy of the Journal Sentinel, Grande’s concert at The Bradley Center may be filled to near capacity, but apparently, her performance “didn’t signify the birth of the next superstar.”

Levy compared Grande’s performance to that of a “dress rehearsal.” The critic went on and analyzed each and every one of Grande’s songs during the concert, saying that the problem lies in “uninspired, misguided direction.”

Levy claimed that Grande’s hit single, “Bang Bang” might have some fireworks along with a rock band and back-up dancers, but Ari reportedly “played it safe.” The critic went on to say that Grande looked “confused, uncertain about what to say, insecure.” He advised her to put confidence at the top of her list if she wants to be the next pop star.

What does Grande think of these bad reviews?

“Ariana has no idea things are bad. She thinks the show is genius and is saying she is now in the same company as Madonna and Michael Jackson,” a source tells Naughty Gossip, writes Celeb Dirty Laundry. The outlet added that if bad reviews on Grande’s tour keep on coming, then they would be left with no choice but to cancel the tour.

While the “Problem” singer may be having some bad reviews, Grande also received positive reviews, especially when she encountered a malfunctioning lift during the opening of her “The Honeymoon Tour” in Kansas City on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

According to MailOnline, Grande nearly got crushed in a broken lift, but the 21-year-old singer kept performing her hit single, “Love Me Harder,” proving her professionalism as a performer.
