Ariella “Ara” Hernandez Arida, who was born in Alaminos, Laguna, is a Filipina fashion model and television personality best known for winning Miss Universe Philippines in 2013. She then represented the Philippines at Miss Universe 2013, eventually placing third runner-up.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Arida revealed to reporter Ginger Conejero the task was assigned to her as early as November 2014. If Lastimosa succeeded in the said pageant,  Lastimosa will be the fifth consecutive Filipino bet in the Top Five of the Miss Universe.
