Arrow Season 3 Episode 10: Synopsis & Update [WATCH VIDEO]

The CW somehow gives its viewers the gist on what to expect when “Arrow” returns to their screens on Jan. 21, 2015. Read on for the details of this update.

“Oliver Queen is dead.” — Every avid viewer’s heart stopped beating the Ra’s al Ghul’s (Matt Nable) blade pierced Oliver Queen aka the Arrow’s (Stephen Amell) body in the mid-season finale of “Arrow.” It was then followed by the titular character falling off the cliff. The show has not given much update but after the Holiday silence, a synopsis of the upcoming episode has finally surfaced the web.

Comic Book Movie featured the synopsis from The Green Arrow TV, the web’s first source for The CW’s “Arrow.”

The team will continue to protect the city despite the Arrow's absence. However, when days passed without hearing from Oliver, the team worries that something could have happened to him. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to believe that Oliver could possibly be gone until Merlyn (John Barrowman) visits them.

Episode 10 is directed by Glen Winter with the creative penning collaboration of Marc Guggenheim and Erik Oleson.

Moreover, ECU News revealed that a new character will be joining the series with the name General Matthew Shrieve, and he is to be played by Marc Singer. For those who do not know, General Shrieve is the titular leader of the DC Universe’s Creature Commandos. He is set to make his debut appearance during the 14th episode of the season in one of Oliver Queen’s Hong Kong flashbacks. It’s also believed that Slade Wilson, the second season’s main villain, will be making a comeback on the same episode, probably in the form of another flashback. Austin Butler’s role as Chase will also get its comeback and highlight as Thea’s new love interest.

That concludes our "Arrow" Season 3 update. Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates in the entertainment world.
