‘Arrow’ Season 3 Spoilers: Will Oliver Queen Say Yes to Ra’s al Ghul’s Offer?
Do not be disappointed if “Arrow” will not air the 16th episode this Wednesday, Mar. 4, 2015. Why, you may ask!
At least you have more time in bracing yourself for an exciting episode on March 18. Will Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) say yes in taking over Ra’s al Ghul’s (Matt Nable) role as The League of Assassin’s new leader? Read on to know what happens in the next episode entitled “The Offer.”
In the show’s promo teaser on the official The CW site, Oliver takes some time considering Ra’s offer. Even people around him have something to say about it. His answer will also be declared in the upcoming episode. Meanwhile, Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) cannot handle the fact that Oliver was chosen by her own father to be his successor. She starts to think that her father’s decision has something to do about her relationship with Sara Lance (Caity Lotz).
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said that Oliver would be very much surprised with the unexpected offer, which is definitely a mind-boggling one. He explained that it was essential for the story development to have a character doing an entirely different thing and a new villain, based on Latin Post’s report. He described Ra’s as a “giant, malevolent force” who surprisingly offered “the keys to the kingdom to our hero.”
Kreisberg said that The League started to transform into a greater kind of threat by offering the hero something so personal to the group. However, Oliver could possibly face a very difficult time thinking about the offer because of his humanity.
Another executive producer, Marc Guggenheim, revealed that the next episode would explain the origins of The League and the essence of being an assassin. He shared that Ra’s decision would affect Nyssa’s journey and persona with her new perspective on kindness and ordinary people.
In the 15th episode “Nanda Parbat,” Ra’s previously saved Oliver’s life to tell him that he wanted the hero to be the new leader of The League. On the other hand, Nyssa went back to Starling City to fight and defeat Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) to revenge Sara’s death. Although Nyssa was captured by Oliver, Thea Queen (Willa Holland) was the one who confessed that she killed Sara. Meanwhile, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) became the new A.T.O.M. suit-clad vigilante and made love with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).
There you have it for the spoilers on “Arrow” Season 3 Episode 16 “The Offer,” which airs on Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. on The CW. For more updates on this show, including spoilers and recaps, follow Movie News Guide (MNG).
