Arrow Spoilers: Stephen Amell Teases the Fate of Speedy
It is no surprise that fans of television shows and actors often take to Twitter in order to ask them questions, or to ask for a hint or two as to what will be in store for them once their favorite shows return for a brand new season. In this case, according to TV Line, actor Stephen Amell has dropped an interesting hint as to what might happen in the fourth season on his official Twitter account that have sent fans speculating and wondering at what is store for their favorite “Arrow” characters when it returns in the fall for a fourth season. Read on.
Just yesterday, Movie News Guide reported that showrunner Marc Guggenheim has teased fans as to who the creative team for the first episode of the fourth season, and that the number of episodes that CW has ordered for the show, and for other CW network shows has been released.
Quickly following the heels of this, TV Line has just reported that Stephen Amell has just released a very vague yet interesting revelation that teases what’s in store for viewers and fans in the very first episode of the season.
According to TV Line, and according to Amell’s official Twitter account, during a question and answer portion on Twitter during the Thursday morning, Amell, in answer to a fan who asked him to describe the first episode of the fourth season in three words, replied in a very enigmatic way. The actor described the fourth season premiere as “What’s wrong Speedy?”, which is in itself quite a big tease for the upcoming season.
Speedy, of course, is the nickname that billionaire by day vigilante by night Oliver Queen, portrayed by Stephen Amell, had given his younger sister, Thea Queen (Willa Holland), who by the end of the season, donned the Red Arrow costume that boyfriend Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) left for her.
Because of that tweet, fans are currently speculating whether Oliver, who in the final moments of the previous season decided to leave Starling City behind, and rode away with his lady love, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), will return as the titular vigilante in order to help his sister.
