WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the current season of “Arrow”. Read on to learn more about which characters we will be seeing once more on the small screen pretty soon, and to learn where else Damien Dahrk will be wreaking havoc.
New York Comic Con, which happened from October 8-11, 2015, just like the San Diego Comic Con, was a good opportunity for both fans and for the television branches of MARVEL and DC, as the fans were treated to several exclusive new clips and news bits regarding their favorite characters and shows, while both studios gained the opportunity to make several announcements, and show their fans what is in store for them this television season.
“Arrow”, in particular, which just had its fourth season premiere, had an interesting clip to show their fans and viewers, and a major announcement was also announced over the weekend, which, of course, will have an effect on DC’s two other television shows, “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow”.
According to TV Line, during New York Comic Con, DC released a “sizzle reel”, which not only recapped several scenes in the season four premiere, and scenes from previous trailers, but added several new scenes as well, with new and returning characters.
With regards to returning characters, the return of Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) was teased, with her coming out of a Lazarus Pit, just right after a clip of John Constantine (Matt Ryan), standing in the middle of a street was shown.
Another clip also showed the Lance sisters, as Canary and the Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), in a circle, all suited up, and ready to fight.
Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), the new R’as Al Ghul, and Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) were shown to be fighting each other in what seemed like a duel in another clip.
Another scene showed Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) staring at her screen, while a video clip of Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) is being played. She was then heard saying that everything bad that had happened to Ray was all her fault.
The last part of the reel previewed the debut of Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) or Mr. Terrific, who, has a small suspicion regarding Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) secret identity as the Green Arrow, and who, according to Entertainment Weekly’s Spoiler Room, did a great job in complementing Felicity, as he is someone whom Felicity can talk to, as the two are on the same wave length when it comes to computers and technology.
Comic Book.com, during New York Comic Con, met up with Neal McDonough, who teased that his Damien Dahrk will definitely be making an appearance in “The Flash” and in “Legend of Tomorrow”.
He also teased that in both shows, fans and viewers will be seeing Damien Dahrk in the past, and hinted that in “Legend of Tomorrow”, fans and viewers will be seeing the Damien Dahrk of 1975.
He also vaguely hinted that Dahrk might actually know, or has something to do with Vandal Savage, the big villain in “Legends of Tomorrow”.
