‘Assassin’s Creed’ Shoot Starts: Michael Fassbender To Fight Knights Templar?

The official statement related to the beginning of shoot for the much awaited film based on the widely popular video game series of Ubisoft, “Assassin’s Creed” has arrived. It has been confirmed by the Malta Film Commission that the team is filming for the same in Valetta, Malta, in which Michael Fassbender will be seen playing a very crucial role. Read to know more.

Fassbender will play the character of Callum Lynch who is a descendant of the secret Assassins society, but unaware of the truth. In his journey, he will find out the truth through genetic memories which allows him to experience the journey of his ancestor, Aguilar, in the 15th century Spain again. And after learning almost everything, the knowledge and skills, he decided to fight the cruel Knights Templar, revealed Comic Book.


Recently, he was in news as his name was considered for a different profile, a detective named Harry Hole of Jo Nesbo’s novel “The Snowman’s” role. In “Assassin’s Creed,” the “12 Years a Slave” actor will be seen in a very heavy get-up like carrying a hood, lightly armored attire and hidden weapons underneath his sleeves, The Guardian reported.

The actor, who has been applauded for his performance as Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic on the Apple Inc.’s mastermind, is very excited for playing the video game warrior holding unbelievable powers. Eveb though it will be a very hectic role for him, we know him that he is habitual of playing tough characters.

With Fassbender, the movie also stars Ariane Labed, Marion Cotillard, and Michael K. Williams in other prominent roles. 20th Century Fox will distribute the Justin Kurzel directed movie which has a long list of producers like Jean-Julien Baronnet, Patrick Crowley, Michael Fassbender, Frank Marshall, Conor McCaughan, and Arnon Milchan attached to it.

Well, as the shoot has just began for the movie, it is not good to say anything about its final appearance on the big screen but one thing is clear that with famous names attached, it will definitely be a fun watch.
