‘Attack on Titan’ Game Update: Plot, Images, Modes Reveal Completely Out-of-the-Box Musou Than ‘One Piece’ Game Title
New screenshots, images, and modes of the “Attack on Titan” video game went rounds on the internet recently, showcasing a different shade of the usual musuo titles such as “One Piece.” What could fans expect? Read on for more details.
“Attack on Titan” Game Plot: Faithful to the Anime
The plot of the forthcoming “Attack on Titan” game would reportedly be the same as the entire 2013 anime, starting from the very beginning and leading players to storylines of known characters such as Survey Corps Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Levi Ackerman, Erwin Smith, and many more.
But it does not mean the game would not have something unique to offer. ShonenGameZ reported that Koei Tecmo president, producer Hisashi Koinuma, and director Tomoyuki Kitamura were aiming to offer something that would make both anime (or manga) fans and hardcore gamers appreciate it.

The “Attack on Titan” game would feature a strategic hunting action mode in which a player’s decision affects a battle’s direction in significant ways, Gematsu reported. This also meant players would get the chance to feel being as skilled as captain Levi, carefully planning on how to defeat a powerful titan.
There would also be body part destructions where a team of players will need to come up of a strategy on how to cripple a titan before attacking its nape. This would ensure that a high-level team tactic in the game.
The 3D maneuver gear would play an important role especially in battles. But more than using it as a way to attack titans in high altitudes, the developers said they want to make flying around as fun as possible both for new gamers and hardcore gamers, with tight controls and difficult maneuvering included for the hardcore.
“Attack on Titan” Game Screenshots: Fusing the Anime World and Game World Through Physics Toon Shader
The game’s graphics was presented by Physics Toon Shader, a feature that combines the anime world and the game world. In other words, it would make players feel as if they were using a character in the anime.

“Attack on Titan” is set to be released for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita on 2016.
