‘Attack On Titan’ Movie Release Date: Live Adaptation Premieres In 2016; Kiko Mizuhara and Miura Takahiro Cast As Lead [WATCH TRAILER]

“Attack on Titan” has already been confirmed to be released this year. This was after the manga-based movie was finally set to be realized 6 years after it was first released. Few more months and “Attack on Titan” fans will be able to watch it on the big screens.

The movie’s cast includes Kiko Mizuhara who would play Mikasa Ackerman and Miura Takahiro as Jean Kirsten. Meanwhile, the lead character Eren Yeager will be played by Japanese actor Haruma Miura. Other stars include Satomi Ishihara as Hange Zoe, Kantana Hongo as Armin Arlert and the character of Sasha Blouse to be played by Nanami Sakuraba, reported VC Post.

The story of “Attack on Titan” talks about humanity being reminded about the existence of gigantic creatures known as Titans. This was after these huge humanoids did not surface for a long time. Titans are monsters that eat humans without remorse and without any reason. To be able to shield humans from Titans, three walls were built to allow them to live in peace. The walls including Wall Rose, Wall Maria and Wall Sheena kept people from these monsters and some of them did not even know gigantic humanoids did exist.

However, when people started began thinking that Titans were only mythical creatures, this was when everything changed. The story begins in Shiganshima District after a Titan mysteriously appeared following a lightning strike. Later, the Titans were able to capture the district after breaking Wall Maria. The survival rate for humans became small after soldiers who tried to get in the way were crushed in unimaginable ways.
