Attack On Titan Season 1 Recap;  No Announcement Yet About Season 2 Release Date

“Attack On Titan” Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger. On the last episode, Annie Leonhart was  covered in crystal, and the Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman found out that the female titan is Annie.

For those who have not watched this popular anime, the story centered on Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman (adopted sister of Eren) and Armin Arlert (a friend). They were living peacefully in a small town named Shinganshina until monsters, called Titansattacked their hometown. The Titans broke the wall of the town and ate the people of Shinganshina, including mother of Eren.


After the horrific event, Eren decided to join the military alongside his friends. After five years, Eren, Mikasa and Armin graduated; and they were all assigned in Trost District. When  the Titans attacked the district, Eren was eaten during the battle, and his friend Armin witnessed it.

Surprisingly, another set of Titans appeared, fighting off the first batch and not harming humans. Soon, the military found out that it Eren has an ability to transform into a Titan, making him a threat to human race. After Eren undergone a trial, he was taken under the care of Capt. Levi.

During the Scouts’ expedition to Shinganshina, a female Titan appeared and attempted to capture Eren. The Scouts captured the female, but it soon devastated the squad of Levi. Armin thought that the female Titan was one of the soldiers, as during the time, she attacked the squad, but the monster didn’t hurt him. Later on,  Armin’s theory  proved to be true.  The squad found out that the female Titan was none other than Annie Leonhart.

In other news,  an announcement about the “Attack On Titan” Season 2 was yet to be announced.  However, a prequel spin-off and a live-action movie were confirmed to be premiered. Last April 2014, Otaku House posted a prank article containing  the airing date of “Attack On Titan” Season 2, which was in July 2014.

The “Attack On Titan” prequel spin-off is titled “No Regrets, Birth of Levi.”.- The story will focus on Capt. Levi, instead instead to three protagonists.

According to Hallels, the prequel will be released on December 2014. Meanwhile, as per Breathecast, the live-action movie is divided into two parts. The first part is titled  “Attack on Titan Part 1: Crimson Bow and Arrow” is set to premiere on Nov. 22, 2014. On the other hand, “Attack on Titan Part 2: Wings of Freedom” will come out in 2015.
