‘Avatar 2’ New Movie Details Revealed; May Be Ready In Two Years Plus Returning Actors

James Cameron, the director of the hit “Avatar” movie is now busy working on the sequel, “Avatar 2.” It is also reported that the director has some interesting ideas and plans to expand the movie into a trilogy. Read on.

“Avatar 2” is planned to be released on theaters in Dec. 2017, but Cameron hasn’t confirmed this yet. In fact, there have been some recent reports stating that Cameron is having problems with technology, which delays the production of the film. Apparently, Cameron has a more futuristic view for the “Avatar” sequel but he doesn’t have access to the right kinds of equipment to make it happen.

On the other hand, if it is true that it is slated to premiere in December 2017 then Cameron might have finally gotten his hands on the right technology equipment for “Avatar 2.” Fans and critics are looking forward to something more amazing than the first movie. Their higher expectations come from the success of the first film, which is one of the most popular productions in cinema.

Sigourney Weaver, who plays Dr. Grace Augustine, is also reported to be reprising her role. In that case, she might have a new avatar because she was killed off in “Avatar.” As for the “theme” of “Avatar 2,” reports have it that it is going to have a “prison theme” and it will focus on captivity. With that, fans start to speculate that “Avatar 2” might be darker than its predecessor and this worries them because not everyone is going to appreciate that certain change in direction.

Still, no one has confirmed these reports yet on “Avatar 2” but one thing’s for sure, though, it is really happening. And pretty soon, Cameron will speak up and let us in on some details.
