‘Avatar 2’ Plot Rumor: Prison Theme With Underwater Scenes To Dominate The Plot?
The highly anticipated sequel of the movie “Avatar” is a long way from hitting the big screen. However, an umpteen of rumors have surfaced so far including a lot of underwater scenes. Recently, a buzz is in the air that the production of “Avatar 2” is focusing on a prison theme. Read below to know more in details.
According to International Business Times India, “Avatar 2” is expected to revolve around the theme about a prison. The matter came out when an artist Gökşan Özman (involved in the production) revealed about the said theme in a poster.
Özman, who is known for his posters for the movies like “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Noah” and “Gravity,” opted the prison theme for the director James Cameron’s one of the biggest project. But, it is not sure whether or not this new theme will dominate the entire plot. However, the idea of “prison” to hold humans or Na’vi inmates is still not cleared.
Earlier it was said that Cameron had a plan for at least two sequels, but now, as reported by Master Herald, he is trying to turn it into a trilogy or probably even more than that. The outlet also reported that Cameron is packed with an inundation of ideas and new concepts for the future installments. Hence, he requires a plenty of time to access his ideas and come to a decision what he can do for the “Avatar” fans. The main problem is said to have surfaced in front of him that he is yet to take the decision what must be included in the movie and what he should skip.
Although the release date of “Avatar 2” is highly pushed back, the release dates of “Avatar 3” and “Avatar 4” is expected not to be affected, as claimed by Franchise Herald. It is because the crew members are working on the three sequels concurrently.
“We’re writing three simultaneously. And we’ve done that so that everything tracks throughout the three films. We’re not just going to do one and then make up another one and another one after that and parallel with that, we’re doing all the design. So we’ve designed all the creatures and the environments,” Cameron said.
“Avatar 2” is expected to be released in Dec. 2017.
