‘Avengers: Infinity War:’ Avengers and Guardians Will Combine Forces to Defeat the Mad Titan Thanos
Granted “Avengers: Infinity War” is a bit far off in the MCU but its about time we start talking about it and start talking about who’s going to take the initial fall. The movie, which will be pitting the Avengers against the Mad Titan Thanos, will face a hard time standing against him. But what if they were to get some help from the outer space? Here are reasons why the Avengers and Guardians will have to combine forces in order to defeat Thanos:
- 1. Both the teams more or less do the same job but on a different scale. When the Avengers are seen protecting the Earth, Guardians are seen defending the Galaxy. In a universe where beings like Thanos exists, both planets and galaxies are at stake and that’s where this merger has to happen.
- 2. As per Movie Pilot, having Guardians fighting alongside the Avengers would only add more power to the heroic side. According to the media outlet, amongst Guardians too there’s one member who could prove to be a more useful asset in the merger and that is Gamora. Being Thanos’ adoptive daughter, she could maybe hit a few personal notes with him but since this is Thanos about whom we are talking about, her skills, as an assassin will prove to be more useful.
- 3. If Marvel were to blindly follow comic book storyline than that would make it even more necessary to combine forces because Drax, the Destroyer was the one to kill Thanos, hence, fulfilling his purpose of being made.
- 4. As far as getting both the teams together is concerned, Guardians could either crash land on Earth or simply follow some possible trails left by Thanos, which would eventually lead them to Earth because that’s where he will be wrecking havoc in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Yibada, on the other hand, reported that since Thanos decided to get the Infinity Stones himself, he would make multiple stops at Asgard and Xandar since two of the remaining Infinity stones are at these places. His invading these places will certainly give more scope to the Avengers and Guardians to at least cross paths with each other.
First part of “Avengers: Infinity War” will release on May 4th 2018.
