‘Avengers: Infinity War- Part I’ Update: Second Major Villain Casting Revealed

“Avengers: Infinity War”, a two part saga of the superheroes fight with the Mad titan Thanos. A lot can be expected since Thanos will be using the Infinity Gauntlet that is in his possession giving him God like powers. But, is he the only villain that the Avengers should be worried about. Rumors suggest that there might be another villain that our superheroes will have to fight in order to defend Earth and chances are it could be Magus.

According to Cinema Blend, the mad titan will be joined by Marvel comics villain Magus. It is being said that Magus might not appear in the movie but will be responsible for assembling the infinity gauntlet and creating another version (like a doppleganger) of our heroes, so as to create a Universe of Evil. Magus is actually said to be an older and evil version of Adam Warlock who first appeared in “Fantastic Four #66” comics. Magus travels from the future so that he can corrupt his former self and make sure his plans and creations are ensured.

However Cinema Blend reported that Magus wanting to make evil versions of our superheroes seems to be a new idea. Originally Magus wanted the Infinity Gauntlet for himself but he was ultimately trapped in the Soul gem, which is considered to be the most powerful Gem of all. The idea of featuring Magus in “Avengers: Infinity War” was not really known until now since this is the first time a news like this has come out.

It was also reported that discussions about Adam Warlock was going on since he happens to be the owner of the Soul Gem but again him appearing in the movie is just a possibility. With Vision already being introduced in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and having a mind stone stored in his forehead, fans have been speculating that this could be a way Marvel will include Adam Warlock’s story as well.
