Avril Lavigne Gears Up For New Album After Coping With Lyme Disease
Pop rock princess Avril Lavigne is now gearing up for her new album after she has coped with Lyme disease last year.
After choosing to lie low in the music scene for two years, the 30-year-old Canadian rocker will once again make new music with her new album set to be released in Christmas.
In interview with Billboard, the “Hello Kitty” hit maker Avril Lavigne hinted that she will be releasing a new album in Christmas, though there are still not final details about it.
The “Complicated” singer told the website that she always wanted to come up with a Christmas album but she never had the time to pursue the music.
“But now it’s like, ‘You know what, just do it! Because that’s something I really want to do, so that’s going to be next for me,” Avril Lavigne said.
Early this year, the singer, who is married to Nickelback’s front man Chad Kroeger, released her new video for “Give You What You Like,” MTV.com said in the recent report.
Following its release, Avril Lavigne also announced her new song “Fly” which is the theme song for the 2015 Special Olympics World Games.
Avril Lavigne took a break from her world tours after she was hit with a rare disease mid last year. It was confirmed that she suffered from Lyme disease which made her bed rest for months.
Amidst facing health issues, the “Happy Ending” singer was also slammed with reports that she is having a divorce with her husband.
Speculations emerged that the rocker couple’s relationship are hitting divorce when the pop princess stopped posting wearing her wedding ring in her outings.
Likewise, Chad Kroeger, who was busy on Nickelback’s world tour for their new album, was also spotted in one outing without his ring
But the couple recently debunked the divorce rumors when Avril Lavigne posted a sweet Instagram snap shot of herself while planting on a smooch on Chad Kroeger.
