Michael Turnbull, one of the contestants of “The Bachelorette” is being accused that he falsified information regarding his achievements. The star had earlier claimed that he is a professional athlete, but his claim is not true.
The problem started when he made a statement during the premiere of the reality television show to Sam Frost. He previously said that one his biggest achievements have been to play for his country Australia and his representation at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
Within few minutes, the aftermath of his false statement was visible as football fans started pouring their anguish on social media about the claims made by Michael to have played in the national team of Australia at Sydney Olympics.
According to Australia Network News, one of the old teammates of Turnbull stated that we never knew that he played for the Olympic team. The fact is that he was selected in the team, but he never got the chance to play.
A professional footballer from Australia also expressed his views. According to Daily Mail, Turnbull became famous in football world of Australia only in the early stages of his career; however, the National Soccer League came to a complete stall in 2004.
Since then, Turnbull has played in only six football games, which is against the claims made by him on National television. What Michael has claimed is not the complete story.
