Backroad Anthem lead singer Craig Strickland still missing! More updates revealed by his family.
Strickland has been confirmed to be missing while out for duck hunting on an Oklahoma lake shortly after Christmas. The country crooner was with his pal and bandmate Chase Morland the day a winter storm landed at the place.
According to Hollywood Life, family, friends and fans are all praying for the Backroad Anthem lead singer’s safety as he was declared missing when he and his friend had a duck hunting trip during a winter storm.
Unfortunately, Morland, his friend didn’t make it as Us Weekly reported that his body was found along with their capsized boat in Kaw Lake last Monday. however, when it comes to Strickland’s condition, police officers “have not found any trace” of the singer.
Based on the statement released by the spokesperson of Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. Morland was found by Tooper Humdy and Trooper Vann at approximately 11:10 hours.
Adding on, the released statement also included a message that they are still in search efforts to find Strickland.
On the other hand, the 22-year-old man posted an update to his Twitter account noting that he and Strickland will go through the winter storm for a hunt. Other than that, what’s more disturbing was when he seemed to foreshadow what could be their fate in their supposed to be a happy trip: “In case we don’t come back…”
After a day, the troubling reports about the pair’s accident headlined all news sites.
Moreover, CBC News Strickland’s wife, Helen asked for prayers on her Twitter account. She has been keeping the fans updated on the recent status of the search and rescue operation of the Oklahoma department for her husband.
Other than that, his wife also posted a photo of her Stricklands dog Sam, who was found near Morland’s body. Ever since Sam was found alive, many are in hopes that Strickland is alive.
On Dec. 29, Helen posted a photo of her and Strickland with a caption: “We love you, Craig Michael. Come home.”
