Batman & Superman vs. Captain America & Iron Man: Which is the Better Pair of Heroes

Two of the biggest heroic duos will be gracing the silver screen next year, as 2016 will unveil two of the most anticipated superhero movies. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Captain America: Civil War” are all set to show what happens when you put two heroes against each other. So instead of fighting each other in their respective cinematic universe, it would be interesting to pitch the two heroic duos against each other.

Clevver Movies have already done it and it is nothing but spectacular. The two sides representing DC and Marvel had some pretty interesting points to put forward. To start with Batman and Superman have been around for decades and so is the conflict and equation between them.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is just going to mark the beginning of DC Cinematic Universe on screen, which will eventually lead to establishing it. “Captain America: Civil War” needs no introduction as it is already a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The conflict between Captain America and Iron Man is also not new, they have had their moments in the “The Avengers” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” where it seems that it wouldn’t take much efforts for the Marvel titans to start a fight. Marvel side also mentioned that there’s a Marvel movie every year that continuously keeps on expanding their universe as compared to DC Cinematic Universe that put its last movie in 2013. The fact that between the release of “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, Marvel has already come out with “Thor: The Dark World,” “Iron Man 3,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Ant-Man” just supports the above point. Also Marvel has “Agents of SHIELD” on TV as compared to DC shows that are not running simultaneously with their movies, which is not good.

DC side in their defense mention that it is time, fans get to see something different than the usual superhero movies. With Ben Affleck playing the role of the Dark Knight, it would be interesting to see what does he bring on the table. Marvel side mentioned that with the Earth’s Mightiest heroes pitted against each other, fans are already wondering how will this battle end?

Eventually, both the movies will be establishing a bigger platform for their respective cinematic universe as “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” ultimately setting the stage for “Justice League” and “Captain America: Civil War” giving clues about who will eventually fight the mad Titan Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War.” 2016 will indeed prove to be THE year for superhero movies.
