‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:’ Marketing Campaign Involving Lex Luthor Kicks Off At New York Comic Con
The New York Comic-Con kicks off today and as expected fans going to the convention will be in for a huge treat as many movies are expected to shed their magic on them. Since the time is just about right next year’s most anticipated movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” which is also expected to make full use of it and with the brilliant marketing campaign Warner Bros. has come up with, it seems DC Extended Universe will be ruling the event.
According to Screen Rant, though the movie will not be showing up at the NYCC, Warner Bros. has devised a great marketing strategy so that its DC Extended Universe’s presence will be felt at the event. It has been confirmed that Lex Luthor owned LexCorp from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be providing free Wi-Fi services at the event.
This marketing campaign by Warner Bros. is a sheer genius way of promoting their material while providing services to fans across the event. To support the campaign, there was a tweet from Jesse Eisenberg’s character Alexander Luthor’s Twitter account, asking that if people were ready for the future to arrive.
An official FAQ sheet has also confirmed the above and stated that LexCorp Industries will be providing with Internet services for NYCC attendees because they believe in uniting humanity through technology.
In order to access the Wi-Fi service, attendees will have to choose “LexCorp” from the available networks at the event and enter their email ids to access Internet. The media outlet raised a question about the power of the “free” Wi-Fi service that is being provided at the event. Since so many attendees will be availing the facility, will the LexCorp network have enough bandwidth to provide the service to all of them?
Comicbook.com added that apart from a big league movie like “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Jurassic World” is also going to put up a decent display at the event. New York Comic Con 2015 will run from 8th to 11th October.
