‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’: Stan Lee Chooses The Man of Steel
Everyone has already chosen their sides in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Fan boys and fan girls have spent hours thinking about the outcome of the battle that we will be able to see next year on silver screen. It is prevalent on every social platform with loyal fans defending their sides. However there’s one man who you would not have expected to pick sides in this battle and that is Stan Lee. Nonetheless, he picked his side and gave a good explanation for that.
According to Comicbook.com, Former President and Chairman of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee in a recent interview about who would he side with in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. The Marvel Comics creator felt a bit torn and looked like it was getting hard for him to pick one side. The reason for that is he has been associated with both the character’s creators. In his statement he stated that Batman creator Bob Kane was a good friend of his while Jerry Siegel, one of the creators of Superman once worked under him so his loyalties were in a way divided. But ultimately he did give an answer and chose to side with the Man of Steel stating some reasons for his choice. On his choice he said that Superman is indestructible and can do anything as compared to Batman who only relies on a few weapons. He added that if this fight was real, there’s no way Batman would have won this.
One should keep in mind that no matter who the legendary comic book writer sides with, Batman still has his own qualities which makes him a formidable competitor. With the kind of money and technology Batman has, he is always known to have a plan to contain almost any potential threat. In Superman’s case, the Dark Knight is known to carry a piece of Kryptonite with him should the Man of Steel were to fall on the evil side. On the other hand Superman too is known for being one of the noblest heroes who would willingly put himself in danger just to save others. He showed us this quality in the “Hereafter” episode of “Justice League” animated series when he stood in front of Batman and Wonder Woman to save them from being killed at the hands of Toy Man. Ultimately it is relieving to know that the heroes will unite to take down a common enemy and no matter what the outcome of this battle is like, it will surely be a showdown worth looking at. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will release next year in March.
