‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Star Henry Cavill Shaves Head For His New Role In ‘Sand Castle’
I always liked the greasy look that he will be seen with in his upcoming film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” but he won’t have to worry about his hair for some time now because he just had his head shaved for his role as a soldier in his other project “Sand Castle.” Henry Cavill shared a video with his loyal fans that are fondly called “Cavillry” and the response has been great.
According to Mailonline, Henry Cavill, who has been roped in to play the role of Captain Syverso alongside fellow British actor Nicholas Hoult, looked quite relaxed as he had his beautiful locks of hair shaved. Response on the video were also good with many of his fans commented that no matter what look he keeps, he will still look gorgeous. One look at the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” star and you will be able to see a more brooding personality of the actor who himself has quite the connection with the military.
The media outlet reported that back in October last year Henry took part in a Gibraltar Rock Run and the event itself helped by raising over £140,000 for charity. He is also known to represent the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund because his brother Nick has served with the Royal Marines for a pretty long time.
There are also jokes going on that getting this haircut with a clipper is much more easier than the way his on-screen character Superman gets a shave done. Because the Man of Steel has a very hard Kryptonian skin, he uses his laser eyes that he shoots at a mirror and the reflection of which shaves his beard. No matter even with the shaved look, Henry looks every part of the soldier he is playing in the movie “Sand Castle.”
Christian Post added that Henry captioned the picture of him getting his head shaved as “The road to Captain Syverso.” “Sand Castle” is the story of a group of American soldiers who have to deal with a small village in Iraq who have not taken well to the fact that there are foreign soldiers on their soil.
According to the story when compared to other parts of Iraq, the remote village where the story is set in, Henry’s character along with others will have to convince the locals that they are allies and not enemies. In the meantime, fans continue to wait for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” that will release next year on March 25th.
