‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Producer Charles Roven hints at a Director’s Cut
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” is arguably 2016’s biggest and most-awaited release especially as it will usher in a new DC Extended Universe. It’s been making a lot of news, owing to the fact that two of the greatest DC Comics superheroes fight against each other in this epic movie. Following well-known motto, ‘Go big or go home,’ producer Charles Roven and director Zack Snyder do plan on making this movie bigger than it is, with the likelihood of a director’s cut.
Screen Rant reported that there are already rumours that “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” could be the most expensive ever for Warner Bros. Pictures, especially as it keeps adding more time to the production schedule. The movie is already in post-production phase but suddenly there’s a new announcement. The movie is predicted to get a lot more bigger with a director’s cut in the pipeline.
In an interview with Collider.com, producer Charles Roven dropped certain hints about the referred director’s cut. The fans are already way too excited for the release of this movie and Roven has hinted at a director’s cut by saying that there’s a much bigger surprise in the end. According to him, there is some footage that director Zack Snyder has captured and those may come in the end, (so fans should sit through even AFTER the entire movie).
This is why the main question is whether this footage will be shown in the cinema halls at all or not.
A longer cut possibly includes a footage that will bring in some exciting story about the characters. And who knows, this may turn out to be more interesting than ever, pretty much like “The Lord of the Rings.”
