‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’: Wonder Woman is Fighting Doomsday
We have all seen the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” trailer and perhaps the one detail that has left everyone questioning is Wonder Woman’s role in the movie. The movie essentially is about the conflict between Batman and Superman and how the Dark Knight takes it on himself to analyze the Man of Steel’s intentions. However, there’s also one scene in the movie that shows Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman fighting someone in an apocalyptic background. Presumed to be the other villain in the movie, recent updates reveal who the Amazonian Princess is fighting. Read on.
According to Screen Rant who quoted a report from Heroic Hollywood, Wonder Woman will be indeed fighting Doomsday as seen in the trailer of the movie. The media outlet initially questioned as to what would compel the Princess to don her battle gear and go in the action mode. But growing claims nearly confirm that she will be fighting the Kryptonian monster. Doomsday is said to be the most dangerous predator in the universe. Reported to having killed Superman, the monster has no regard for human life whatsoever.
A part of the scene has been described by Heroic Hollywood and according to the description, Wonder Woman suits up for a battle with the monster. During the fight with Doomsday, she draws her Amazonian sword and cuts off one of the monster’s arm. Since its Doomsday, another bone blade grows out where the monster’s hand used to be. What happens next is not disclosed and is left to be seen in the movie.
If it is indeed Doomsday, there are many questions that will need answering. Is the monster created from General Zod’s body? Since Lex Luthor is shown to be in possession of the Kryptonian General’s body, chances are he will try to create his own version of Superman, which will go horribly wrong and create the monster. If Lex indeed creates something that big from Zod’s body, it would be really intriguing to see how it was created.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will release on Mar. 23, 2016.
