BBC Music Video: Entered Top 20 on Official Singles Chart [WATCH VIDEO]

Since a long time the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) has been the most reliable news source in the UK and the world. BBC has always made the best use of its power and popularity in various aspects of philanthropy and business. Now the company has stepped in the world of music, and did it in best possible manner; BBC heralded the start of the correctly-titled BBC Music, the company recently released a new version of the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows.” Read on to know more about BBC’s musical venture success and full list of stars featured it the video.

As anticipated the outcome is that just four days on sale the newest rendition of the “The Beach Boys” classic song, which was performed by 29 international stars, has entered the Top 20 on the Official Singles Chart.


According to the channel’s official site, numerous well-known musicians in the industry today have recorded the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows” for the launch of BBC’s new music venture, BBC Music.  It was real tough task to identify all of the stars who feature in the video. The musical ensemble video was directed by Francois Rousselet. The grand Alexandra Palace Theatre brought to life by a delightful rendition of the track which amassed many decades and genres. The BBC first broadcast 90 years ago at the Alexandra Palace Theatre in north London. Indeed a perfect choice for a perfect performance for a dignified cause.

The venture takes the viewers down the memory lane to the splendid cover of Lou Reed’s Perfect Day in 1997.  It was also released by BBC Music to raise funds for Children In Need. It featured the superstars such as U2’s Bono, David Bowie and Elton John. BBC Music will be the most up-to-date section of the corporation and will focus on all things related to music.
