After a successful private screening of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” it is reportedly said that Warner Bros is planning for a Batman trilogy starring Ben Affleck. The two time academy award winner portrayed the role of Caped Crusader and has done a marvelous job. The production house has laid plans for a stand-alone flick turning into a trilogy. According to Den of Geek, director Zack Snyder, received standing ovation for his overwhelming directorial venture. According to an insider, the screening was held only for crew and Warner bros officials. Everyone seems to be moved with the entire cut and hence, the “Argo” actor cracked golden deal.
Snyder revealed that creating a film can be challenging and pressurizing when the benchmarks are as high as Christopher Nolan’s work in his “Batman Trilogy. It was although Snyder is immensely praised for his work as stated by VC Post.
As per the deal, Batman stand-alone will extend into a trilogy instead of single feature and Warner Bros are likely to stick on their schedule, as the rumors spread. It is even speculated that the release dates of Affleck’s upcoming flicks “Live by Night” and “The Accountant” are postponed for few months.
Affleck will remain the protector of Gotham City as Batman for the next 10 years or so. The “Pearl Harbour” actor is said to be the definitive Batman of DC movies. However, there has been no official confirmation on this from Warner Bros. But yes if the speculations are true fans are going to hear the good news very soon.
