Benicio Del Toro is having a good year. Read on for more details.
Audience are already expecting to see more of the Collector in more prominent roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, the post credits scene from “Thor: The Dark World” and the short sketch from “The Guardians of the Galaxy” seemed to point to the fact that the Collector will somehow have a bigger role to play in the Marvel Cinematic universe.
Now, director James Gunn has confirmed that we will be seeing more antics from the Collector in the next movie in “The Guardians of the Galaxy” series. The director didn’t say if Del Toro’s character will get a meaty role or a measly cameo, but we can be sure that it will add to the hilarity of the movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 will see the story revolve around Peter Quill’s Father. If the first movie was about the mother, this one will be about the fathers of several significant characters.
It has also been revealed that the story will explore the lives of Gamora, nebula and Yondu significantly, and will obviously delve deeper in the lives of the main characters, Rocket and Groot from the first film as well.
Benicio Del Toro has been very busy lately. He impressed the crowds with his performance in “Sicario” so much that people are whispering about an Oscar nomination. Audience are even looking forward to watching him in the “Star Wars” sequel as well; they expect him to deliver a punchy performance.
