Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle Gears Up For Destiny’s Child Reunion Concert 2015
Destiny’s Child fans are in for a treat! Rumor has it that a Destiny’s Child reunion concert is happening much sooner than you think. Several reports claim that Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams are about to go on a world tour soon.
Last Saturday, Destiny’s Child had a mini reunion when they performed at the 2015 Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Las Vegas. Beyonce and Kelly gave their full support to Michelle and performed “Say Yes,” a song which was part of her 2014 solo album.
In an interview with Global Grind, Kelly Rowland said that she was overwhelmed with how fans reacted to their Stellar Awards performance. She added that the entire performance was about Michelle and her song, “Say Yes.” She said that she and Beyonce are so proud of Michelle for winning the Best Video Award.
As previously reported, this is not the first time that Destiny’s Child got together for a reunion performance. In Beyonce’s 2013 Super Bowl halftime performance, the trio performed “Single Ladies,” “Independent Women” and “Bootylicious” that left fans wanting for more.
It has yet to be confirmed on when a Destiny’s Child reunion would happen but Michelle said that she’s open to the possibility of it.
“Who knows? It’s a possibility. I think this was a good moment, and it felt good for all of us and you definitely want those moments again,” she told Billboard.
It has also been reported that the trio are working on a new album which could be released soon. Their last tour as a group, called “Destiny Fulfilled” earned a whopping $70.8 million in the US alone. Billboard reported that it was the highest-grossing tour for a pop and R&B band since TLC’s “Fan Mail” tour.
